Those living in the western part of Singapore might be familiar with Jurong Lake District - an area that the government is looking to transform into the largest mixed use business district outside of the city centre. But so far, still no proposals received for a new tourism development in the area.
Associate Professor Sungsoo Kim from the Hospitality Business program at Singapore Institute of Technology shares his perspective on why it’s so and what kind of potential the Jurong Lake area holds.
