Hands up if you’re guilty of this: when you text someone, do you send a “thx” instead of “thanks”, or maybe just a lone, cold “K"?

You’re not alone - but if you find yourself doing this often: here’s something you should know. A series of studies looked into how people feel when they receive these kinds of clipped, abbreviated messages.  And it turns out… people don’t love it.
