Breakfast Bites: Kiasu, or quality? How long are you willing to wait in a queue?

View descriptionShare

What was the longest time you’ve waited in line for something? Or better yet, have you ever joined a long queue… without even knowing what it was for?

In Singapore, queueing isn’t just something we do, it’s practically a national sport. The average person says 15 minutes is their limit for standing in line, but many admit they’ve waited far longer if the stall is famous.

Now, what’s behind this love affair with lining up?
Are you joining because it’s really that good, or just because everyone else is?
