More than 200 members of Singapore’s legal fraternity gathered behind closed doors to debate the Law Society’s handling of an internal audit that found “significant failings” in leadership, workplace culture and governance.
With more than 100 lawyers calling for the full report to be released, questions are growing over what the summary leaves out, whether the investigation was sufficiently independent, and whether this has become a crisis of confidence in the Law Society’s leadership.
