The Future and Philosophy of Super with Warren Bird

View descriptionShare

What is superannuation really for? What will happen to it in Australia? What's the trust in God got to do with putting money away now?

To get stuck into super for you, special guest Warren Bird brings his super super knowledge. Warren has more than 40 years experience in investments and financial markets. From Australia's Treasury (Yes, THE Treasury) to Colonial First State and executive director of Uniting Financial Services, Warren is now on the board of the WA Government Employees Superannuation Fund (GESB).

Just after Australia's premier Conference of Major Superannuation Funds, Warren told Money about the future of super, including the Federal Government's proposal to target the "rich". Warren also explains super's purpose and applies biblical thinking to our approach to long-term saving.
