The University of Wisconsin–River Falls Biology Department is growing in many ways, and of course, I don't just mean plants. Dr. Benjamin J. Crain joins me. He's an Assistant Professor at the University in the Biology Department. He tells me the university is growing in infrastructure that helps support students, researchers, and academics alike. Their newly named Sandra Bowen Biology Greenhouse offers an opportunity to tell a biogeographical story. He tells us that that means several rooms in the greenhouse allow for different biomes to be set. This gives the opportunity to grow and, in turn, learn about plants that aren't traditionally grown in Wisconsin.
