Soybean Ratings Drop - Markets Reacting

With temperatures easily in the 90's this week, Wisconsin farmers need to take care of their skin when outside taking care of chores.  Melissa Ploeckelman with the National Farm Medicine Center in Marshfield says farmers are usually surprised at their high risk. Repeated days exposed to the sun can be the beginning of skin cancer.  Aaron Zimmerman brings us the story.

Semiconductor chip shortages are really putting into jeopardy farm equipment that operations are depending on for the fall harvest.  Now, industry leaders say the shortage may continue to impact availability into 2022.  Ashley Davenport, fellow farm broadcaster in Michigan, reports.

John Hineberg, market advisor with Total Farm Marketing in West Bend, says the markets reacting to a drop in soybean ratings this week and there's continued strength in the cattle market.
