It’s the season of giving, and if you’re an animal lover, you’re probably inclined to donate to your local animal shelter. Today we’re visiting with Stephanie Kraemer, she’s a volunteer with the Sauk County Humane Society and she's the United States of America’s Mrs. Wisconsin! She’s pretty outspoken about the importance of local animal shelters, especially in rural areas. She tells us about the costs and needs to operate a shelter and the best way to give donations. Stephanie says the shelter really is bursting at the seams with 2,000 animals. They are campaigning for a new building in 2025. Donations and your time are welcome to make that goal a reality in the new year.
