Net farm income for 2023 is still above the 20-year average, but it’s fallen 25 percent from last year. Renk Agribusiness Institute Director Paul Mitchell joins us in-studio. Even though farm income is down, the cost of doing business is not. He projects where input prices will go in 2024 and how producers should be thinking about risk management.
