New Faces To Educate In DC

The 2022 USDA Census of Agriculture is making its way to mailboxes across the country.  Pam Jahnke visits with Barbara Rater, USDA director of the Census and Survey Division, about new elements included in this year's census.

Elections are in the rear view mirror, but educating the newly elected on agriculture and its needs going into the Farm Bill is a big job.  Stephanie Hoff visits with Andrew Bailey, science liaison with the National Pork Producers Council, on how they go about helping newly elected leaders engage in ag policy development.

Can you imagine facing winter without food?  It's a global issue facing millions.  Pam Jahnke visits with Chase Sova from the World Food Program. This unit is a part of the United Nations, charged with trying to connect those in need with food stuffs from around the world - including U.S. farmers.
