A state-of-the-art facility for Insight FS is set to be built in Amherst Junction, Wisconsin, which will be a 25 thousand ton dry fertilizer shed. The facility is being built on the existing property, and will allow for greater volumes of fertilizer to be moved through the facility more efficiently.
Ben Huber, Insight FS General Manager says with cutting-edge technology and increased storage capacity, this facility will provide enhanced support to their customers, streamline operations, and better cater to the needs of farmers in Wisconsin.
“This was a fertilizer facility that was 30 years old and had not aged well,” says Huber. It was time to make a massive infrastructure improvement to add capacity, speed, and efficiency, not only for us, but also for the rest of the agriculture channel that we work with.”
