Wisconsin's seen several visitors from the U.S. Department of Agriculture lately.  Jill Welke caught up with USDA Under Secretary, Alexis Taylor, discussing specialty crops in Wisconsin and what they're doing to help keep them competitive in a global market.

Cicadas have returned to Wisconsin.  UW-Extension Entomologist, PJ Leisch, explains the hatch process for the noisy insects.Technology plays a bigger and bigger part of Wisconsin agriculture. 

Today, technology allows cows to decide when they want to milk.  Stephanie Hoff caught up with Erin Kammann. She’s a Madison native – educated at UW-Platteville before earning a master's degree from UW-Madison. Now she's trying to find the sweet spot for those milking encounters to help enhance the technology already on some Wisconsin farms. 

Katie Burgess, broker analyst with EverAg, joins Pam Jahnke to recap the latest milk production figures and how that's influencing today's cheese and butter prices.
