67th Annual Performance Bull Sale On The Way - Allan Arndt

View descriptionShare

With the escalated value beef producers are seeing in the marketplace, focusing on always bringing quality animals to the buyer means money.  Keeping genetics fresh is critical.

For 67 years, the Wisconsin Beef Improvement Association (WBIA) has focused on revealing great young sires, ready for a new paddock.  Allan Arndt, Janesville beef producer and current president of WBIA, says the bull sale started at the Hancock Ag Research facility before relocating to the UW-Platteville Pioneer Prairie Farm for housing and performance measurements on the bulls submitted.  Arndt says they're considered the longest running, consistent bull sale in the nation.

The 2024 Bull Sale happens Saturday, April 6th - starting at 11 a.m. at the UW-Platteville Pioneer Prairie farm for those that want to physically be present.  They're also offering a great online buying opportunity by partnering with DV Auction.
