Former newsreader Hamish McKay has opened up about his dramatic 50kg weight loss.
The long-time broadcaster revealed he was was suffering several health problems after his weight climbed to 135 kilos.
Mackay says his blood pressure was running high and his cholesterol was 'horrendous' - and something needed to be done.
"The signs were there - even though I could hide it, I bluffed my way."
