People are talking about the Queensland cricket team Marney. They've made the Sheffield Shield Final against South Australia next week, but that's being overshadowed by a messy public dispute with one of Australia's leading players, Usband Kowaja. He made himself unavailable for their final match over recent days in order to self manage a hamstring injury. The queens then Bull's medical staff claimed to have no knowledge of his hamstring injury, and this is after that Osmond was seen attending the F one in Melbourne over the weekend. He has claimed he's already arranged with Queensland Cricket to have the game off, joining us now Sheffield Shield Legend captain Queensland are five Sheffield Shield titles.

A good mate, stee Lawte.

We want to know as a Queensland legend yourself, you know, very proud of your Sheffield Shield achievements. What your thoughts are on Usbond Kuaja? What's what's the story?

It's a different one because you know he's contracted to Cricket Australia, but Cricket Australia have their own culture. Queensland Cricket we worked hard to create a culture that we thought would create longevity and success for Queensland cricket. And that was every opportunity you got, you represented the great state of Queensland. You're not just playing cricket for the teammates and family and whatever. You're playing for everyone who lives in that state. And look, it's it baffles me as to why you can play one game and then pull out another game and then be available for the next one, you know, particularly when the game before potentially was a final itself. So you know, it's all right to sit there and say that, you know, I'm mainly contracted by Cricket Australia, but you've also got a right to look after your stay at Queensland and your teammates, et cetera. And it just looks from the outside it looks ugly.

Looks ugly.

When you're down at the F one on the weekend and they're saying that he's managing a hamstring injury. The medical team are going, well, what injury? Yeah, exactly, yeah, exactly, yeah. Look, there's conflicting. We don't really know. I don't know the full story. I'm a long way out of it. I was just recently in Australia when this all blew up, we fought hard to create what we believe was going to be a winning culture. Now that culture, whether we if it's not maintained, Queensland loses. You know, the impact that those guys who went through heartache. We're not just talking the guys who played in the Shield final thirty years ago. We're talking about the guys who played every season before that. The guys who didn't play for Queensland, who were good enough to play, would give their left arm to play every game. So it just stinks, mate, it really does. You know, we don't just play for us. We don't. When you played for Queensland, you played for you know, the millions of Queenslanders that love and support everything that Queensland gets into. You know, we found out that after we won the first Shield. You travel the ins and outs of Queensland and how many people we touched, and you realize the far reach you've got, the responsibility you have to go out and play, play your artist all the time. And you know, if you're if you're tired and whatever, you just find another another gear to dig in and keep going. And the guy who's got two months coming up. He's got two months off coming up April and May, so we're only talking about another nine days of cricket. Jeers, guys, have a good one.
