Yolanda has had such an interesting life and has seen bands that we could only imagine to have seen.

Yolanda talks about influences, singing, Australian bands playing randomly on a Wednesday afternoon in the 60s, how song writing happens, can happen and how it starts.

This episode also has a awesome story with a chance meeting with Paul McCartney. You will have to listen to see how this goes. Like a real chance encounter! 

 I now realise after my whole time on this Earth why my older brother is named Paul, after that Paul.

I can't talk really my youngest son is named after Miles Davis and the knowledge that Miles Brown from Art of Fighting was a nice guy.

Yolanda Ingley II has a story of migration, Australia and how women still are the back bone of successful men at the detriment to themselves and their talents. It is hard to find many men that would do the reverse.

Warning: We swear in this episode. 

We all need to thank the wonderful Steve Dagg for bringing Yolanda out of the kitchen and into our speakers.

Yolanda has a voice to remember. A talent nearly lost to time and I wish everyone knew her songs.

If you ever think you are too old please listen, if you are sacrificing your soul for others maybe Yolanda can help you dream for more.

A story of how music can change paths, bring love and sorrow.

But it's better to be blue and have loved than not love at all.

I am so thankful for Billy Abbott from Season 1 Episode 1 for getting me in contact with Yolanda and being an awesome friend, like I am lucky to know him and have his support for this show and personally.

Kristy explains to Mark the best things about Manchester music and Mark calls Brisbane a name she had not thought of and tells her why it has fantastic music.

This is an excellent episode where we talk learning instruments badly, song writing processes and how musicians think. Great Australian songs, comfort albums and best songs of all time are also included. Hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed talking to Mark. Also his music is awesome!
