So good with me. We have our guest and top four contestant. The last woman standing Charlene tan from master chef Singapore season three. And you can recommend some delicious food for us before we get into that share with our listeners. Where do your tastes lie? What is your favorite kind of thing to eat in Singapore things with lots of crispy pork life and comfort food
comfort high five. You have to be very complicated, very expensive you know, but it's just the texture, the flavor, they just go together and it just makes you,
I feel like all warm inside when you eat it. Just you happy. So on that note, tell us what makes you feel warm inside and happy. Um One of my favorite things to eat is young suit depending on where I am in Singapore. I will eat different versions from different stalls. You know when I'm in orchard road. I think my favorite place to go is the one at Lucky Plaza. It's right at the top of the building. There is a little coffee shop, it's called my face.
Favorite cafe yong tau foo. I mean orchard road food is expensive. So it's one of the slightly more affordable things to eat in orchard road. I always order the soup version because honestly a good young how food should have really umami rich soup with beans and soybeans and they use that they're okay. It's not heavy on the msg. It's flavorful. Its tasty and one of the best things that you can order is the braised mushroom. Oh yeah bye
in the dried mushroom from Korea. They are extra big and extra fat and they braise it really well. It's like sweet and salty and it's well done. You're talking about like shiitake mushrooms. Yes, so very meaty. And this is the side dish you basically like other stores. You pick what you want. So I definitely go with the braised mushroom and then the other must have is the fried pork ball. It's crispy outside, juicy,
moist on the inside and they're nice when they serve it, they will put the fried meatballs separately so that doesn't go into your soup and it could become soggy and same for the braised mushrooms. Mixed mushrooms. Go into the soup that braising liquid just releasing into the soup is going to make it even more tasty. So for delicious. Get the meatball and the mushrooms. This is found where once again, my favorite Cafe au it's on the sixth floor of Lucky
