That's according to Senior Legal Practitioner and Analyst, Saber Ahmed Jazbhay. This after another Grade 12 pupil from Pretoria High School for Girls was suspended for alleged racist remarks she made in a video. The initial 12 learners who had been suspended over racism claims have been cleared after a hearing. However, Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane says that they are still busy with the disciplinary process. Meanwhile, Jazbhay says these cases are indicative that there needs to be dialogue and education within the home first, and then at community level to combat racism over time...
