Private security company Reaction Unit SA claims they have been receiving several calls from parents claiming that their daughters were involved in the drug trade. This begs a bigger question: is the nature schoolgirls changing in a drastic way? We discuss this with Vee Gani, Chairperson of the Parents' Association of KZN and Prenashen Pillay, Director of Child Welfare Chatsworth.

It's also 60 years since the United Nations adopted the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), marking a pivotal moment in the global fight against racism. And so on this Human Rights Day which is also the UN's International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination- it's a critical moment to take stock of global human rights. That's the assessment of Abigail Noko, the United Nations Human Rights Regional Representative, Southern Africa office. She spoke to Newsbreak about how these significant anniversaries must inspire a greater committment to Human Rights
