This is according to the Energy and Water Sector Education and Training Authority, who say the pressures facing the water system are constantly evolving. This comes as President Cyril Ramaphosa declared South Africa's water crisis a national priority, announcing a "National Water Crisis Committee" and committing R156 billion towards water and sanitation infrastructure.
