Following a cervical and breast cancer screening campaign across Inanda, Ntuzuma, KwaMashu and Phoenix, north of Durban, Simelane officially opened the new Thuthuzela Care Centre (TCC) in KwaMashu. September marks Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. The disease is a significant public health issue in South Africa, being the second most common cancer in women and the leading cause of cancer death among women aged 15 - 44.
