The shelter will host an Open Day and Quiz Night fundraiser this Saturday to support the care of vulnerable animals. The event comes as the non-profit organisation faces more than fifty-three thousand rand in veterinary bills after vaccinating about 70 dozen dogs and taking in several litters of puppies. Chivona Nundlall - Operations Manager at the KZN Doghouse says the event will also give visitors the chance to meet rescue dogs that are up for adoption and learn more about the shelter's rehabilitation efforts...
