By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport are currently locked in a emergency meeting with e-hailing associations and taxi operators in Phoenix, north of Durban. This comes after an e-hailing driver was allegedly assaulted and his car held at ransom after dropping off a passenger at the Phoenix Plaza. The Provincial Department of Transport, the police and representatives of the two modes of transport are attending the closed meeting hash out the issues in a bid to improve relations.
