They say that the adjusting of shark safety nets is in operation as shoals move north along the coastline. Early sightings confirm sardine shoals reaching areas such as Port Edward, with movement now tracked toward Margate and Shelly Beach. This seasonal event is also attracting sharks, dolphins, and seabirds, creating intense feeding activity offshore.
