By Newsbreak Producer Tashlan Naidoo - Government is falling short in addressing one of the root causes of gender-based violence - how boys are raised to become men. This is according to Craig Wilkinson – Founder and CEO of Father A Nation, a non-profit organisation focused on fatherhood, healthy masculinity and GBV prevention. He says the country's response needs to place greater emphasis on positive male role models who can teach boys healthy masculinity. This comes as government's latest GBV plan focuses on case-recovery, safety audits, forensics, and liquor laws.
