The IFP says the move is unconstitutional, reckless and socially irresponsible, arguing that schools cannot function or uphold learners' right to basic education without essential services. IFP Councillor Dr Jonathan Annipen is calling for the immediate reconnection of affected schools, while KZN Department of Education spokesperson, Muzi Mahlambi says they are in ongoing engagements with the City to find a timeous solution to the matter....
