Club Med South Africa Beach and Safari promises an all-inclusive resort stay for couples or families to relax and unwind and enjoy the warm waters of the Indian Ocean including a safari featuring the Big 5. The project has provided employment for over 1800 people with the possibility of overseas travel to other venues listed in the brand's resort portfolio. As Africa's Travel Indaba kicks off this week in Durban, the resort hosted an exclusive tour for Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille at the venue. Chris du Toit, the Project Lead at Club Med South Africa says the opening of the resort will have many spin-offs for the area......

By Newsbreak's, Tashlan Naidoo - Gauteng Hawks Head Ebrahim Kadwa and Senior Crime Intelligence Officer Feroz Khan have been granted 20-thousand Rand bail each. They appeared before the Kempton Park Magistrates Court this morning. The two Major-generals face charges of Contravention of the Precious Metals Act and Defeating the Ends of Justice. The charges relate to the illegal dealing and unlawful possession of precious metals, illicit precious metals transactions and corruption. They were arrested over the weekend. The State did not oppose bail and the accused are to hand in their passports as one of their bail conditions. SABC reporter, Luyanda Danca has the details....

Heavy rain, gale-force winds, rough seas and freezing temperatures are expected to continue until Tuesday. Authorities say the severe weather could lead to flooding, travel disruptions and dangerous coastal conditions. Residents have been urged to remain alert and avoid unnecessary travel as the system moves across the country. Meteorologist at Africa Weather - Sihle Kunene says emergency services are monitoring the situation closely.
