Curator Selvan Naidoo, says the menu will not only fill the tummy, but satisfy a deep craving for food that recalls fond memories...

*The festival takes place this Saturday from 9am to 4pm and includes tours and live cooking demonstrations.

That's according to the 2024 General Household Survey, which found that 265-thousand children aged between 16 and 18 are not in the system. South African Educational Technology company, d6 is trying to bridge the gap by providing cloud-based school management and communication software using everyday school data. CEO Willem Kitshoff says this software can identify patterns that could indicate why a learner is falling behind or becoming disengaged in the classroom...

This as the Gauteng Education Department is continuing with intensified school safety operations to tackle substance abuse, gangsterism and the possession of dangerous weapons at schools. Gauteng Education MEC Lebogang Maile together with law enforcement and security partners have so far participated in operations at 23 schools across the province. SABC reporter, Luyanda Danca is on the ground and brings us an update....
