By Newsbreak Producer, Tashlan Naidoo - Authorities have confiscated drugs, weapons and other prohibited items during unannounced raids at schools across the Gauteng Province this morning. This as the Gauteng Education Department is continuing with intensified school safety operations to tackle substance abuse, gangsterism and the possession of dangerous weapons at schools. Gauteng Education MEC Lebogang Maile together with law enforcement and security partners have so far participated in operations at 23 schools across the province.
