While Diosa and Mala were arriving to the studio, the news broke that civil rights leader and feminist icon, Dolores Huerta died. Together, they touched on her lifelong commitment to the labor movement and civic engagement. In March of this year, Huerta came forward as a survivor of sexual assault by farmworker leader and UFW co-founder, Cesar Chavez. Diosa and Mala reflect on the unfathomable sacrifice she made to "not hurt the movement" and how so many of us were impacted by her years of service.

Editorial Note: This episode misstates the name of Dolores Huerta's daughter, Juanita Chavez.
