View descriptionShare

There is an old saying, “A picture is worth 1000 words”.  The typical human being speaks at 120-150 words per minute- Mr. Black gets to 180.  1 picture of disrespect, non-interest, non-concern, rudeness, lacking love…overrides 6-8 minutes of nonstop dialogue. We now know the mind often prioritizes visual information when it is more salient or relevant to the context. Auditory information can dominate if it is unexpected or emotionally charged. The brain integrates both senses, but visual cues typically have a stronger influence on perception. In ambiguous situations, the mind may rely on visual input to resolve discrepancies between sight and sound. This is why it is important that OUR ACTIONS, what people SEE us do, are so important and so influential.  On today’s hour of Power Mr. Black is going to help listeners understand that what they are doing speaks so loudly, that most people aren’t listening to what most people are saying- but they are watching!  Inspiration, Education and Application are on the menu for listeners.  John MacArthur, Ravi Zecharias, Stories and the Reality and power of Resilience will be on the agenda.  Tune in and be moved to be better and to SHOW UP BETTER!
