Dear Mapaseka
I am the most depressed man on earth , my baby mama and I broke up ,simply because she wants to
control everything in our relationship. She gave birth to our premature child early in the year. Things
became worse. She doesn't want my family to be in contact with the child. When I ask her why she doesn't
say. She doesn't want me giving my child a name, she says it's her and her family who have the right to do
so.
I am in my early thirties and she is in her twenties, she also blames me for getting her pregnant,
she wanted to abort the child when she found out she was pregnant and I fought with her not to do it.
This matter even involved social workers and our families till she changed her mind.
Now she behaves like she loves the child more than me. The only thing she wants is the money to support
the child. I bought everything for the child. She is not working and never contributed anything even her
family.
She said I should send her R4500 every month for the child and it's not a problem for me, next thing men
will be blamed for not supporting their children because I feel sidelined. I even doubt now if this is my child.
This is another factor why we man stop supporting our children and run
How should I deal with this?
