Dear Mapaseka
I lent my sister in law R120 000 a year ago. At the
time she said she and her husband were going
through a tough time and that they needed to pay for
their child’s private school fees. The child would have
been let go at the school if they didn’t pay. At the time she said I must not inform my wife (her sister) as they would return the money in about 2
months. The sisters were not talking at the time but are now on good terms. I have been asking her about the money and she keeps saying they are still working on returning it.
I realised last week as i spoke to her husband that he is not aware of this and i stopped on the tracks of revealing the whole situation. He instead told me of
her gambling addiction and that he wants to leave
her.
I am so frustrated as I still have not told my wife and the money was from our home renovations savings account. My worry is that my sister inlaw knows a lady i had an affair with a few years ago and I'm worried that if i tell my wife about the money she
will tell my secret. i don't know what my next move should be
