• Shae Graham, Aussie Steeler, member of the Australian wheelchair rugby team, won Bronze at the recent World Challenge, and Shae also did a fabulous job appearing on “The Cook Up” with Adam Liaw.
• Molly Wooton spoke about International Guide Dog Day and her guide dog Jarvis, from Guide Dogs SA & NT.
• Bethany Hackshall, Executive Director for the Gidget Foundation, had news on the First Gidget House to open in South Australia, to support parents with perinatal mental health challenges.
• David Mitchell, health commentator, shared his recent health challenges and how “My Home Hospital” has helped David recover quicker; better and at the same time taking pressure of the hospital health system.
• Belinda Hellyer, from Brewed By Belinda, had some suggestions for tea rituals that help relaxation; stress reduction and self-care.
• Sam Paior, from The Growing Space, leading Advocate, has dug deeper into the proposed NDIS cuts announcements.
• Emma Thomas, Regional Manager for Live Big, lets us know about telehealth - often the only way to access disability and mental health support, especially for those living in regional areas, or finding transport challenging.
