Morry Frenkel speaks with Michael Gawenda, three-time Walkley award recipient, columnist, former foreign correspondent, author and writer behind the popular Substack newsletter, “Gawenda Unleashed”, about the importance of making a submission to the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion. Michael describes his submission, which includes observations based on his unique position in Australia’s media landscape, as well as the effect on the Jewish Arts community of the wave of antisemitism that followed the horrific events of October, 2023.
