Morry Frenkel speaks with Marc Felman KC, about the establishment of the Jewish Centre for Law and Justice (JCLJ), a national, independent, legal organisation that is dedicated to tackling antisemitism through the legal system. Marc talks about some of the work the JCLJ has been involved in and the ways in which the organisation complements the activities of Jewish community groups in combating antisemitism. The JCLJ seeks legal professionals to join its pro bono network; volunteers, whether they are lawyers, students or community members who are able to contribute their skills or time; and finally, it needs donations to support its work (donations are tax-deductible for amounts greater than $2). Go to www.jclj.org/ for further information and www.jclj.org/contact-us/ to request legal help.
