Wisconsin state Sen. Brad Pfaff in studio to discussing a lot of negotiations happening — federally with the debt ceiling, statewide with the shared revenue plan and locally with road funding. Began the show on the debt ceiling talks with Republicans in charge of the the US House and the Biden Administration. After that, we get Pfaff's point of view on the back and forth between Republicans in the state Assembly and Senate, where they are in negotiating the shared revenue plan, before sending it to Gov. Tony Evers for signature or veto. We also discuss Wisconsin energy and how the state could baby step its way to being self sufficient. Ended the show talking a bit about what the state is doing with homelessness, an issue that's getting more attention in La Crosse lately.
