Pro-Palestinian protesters burned American flags on the Fourth of July outside City Hall. Some of them were also seen on chopper video from our partners at NBC10 clashing with police, who made several arrests.
The protest started in Rittenhouse Square. A few hundred people then marched through Center City, waving Palestinian flags and holding signs that said "ceasfire now." When the crowd reached City Hall, cops on bikes helped control the crowd while officers took some protesters into custody.
Police have not said how many arrests they made.
