• Lobbyists for a proposed new 76ers arena in Center City have agreed to pay a $4,000 fine for failing to disclose why they were meeting with Philadelphia officials. 
• A Philadelphia school was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after a gun was found inside a student's backpack. The school says immediate action was taken and all students, faculty, and staff are safe and secure. The lockdown was lifted about two hours later. There's been no word from police on an arrest.
• Lawmakers in Trenton have advanced a bill that would increase penalties for people who assault law enforcement officers.
• With high temperatures, low humidity and strong winds, the National Weather Service is issuing a red flag warning in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The weather conditions increase the risk of the spread of wildfires.
