KYW Newsradio All Local: Sunday June 2, 2024 (Morning Edition):

• Nearly a dozen people were arrested after a massive brawl at Veterans Park in Clementon, New Jersey. As KYW’s Justin Udo tells us, this happened during a special township event Saturday evening.
• An apparent road rage incident in Southwest Philadelphia late Saturday night led to three people being shot, one of them fatally. Police say this happened shortly after 11 p.m. at 62nd Street and Grays Avenue near the Elmwood section of the city.
• Police have released surveillance video asking for the public’s help finding the people they believe were involved in an assault-turned-homicide outside a bar in Frankford back in February. The victim died of his injuries in the hospital on May 25. KYW’s Nigel Thompson has more.
• Summer is quickly approaching, and that means heat. Climate change has made the summers hotter, and a nonprofit group focused on health equity wants to get the word out that extreme heat is not just a climate issue — it's a public health crisis in the U.S.  KYW's Matt Leon has more.
• The Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets will meet in a two-game series on June 8 and 9 in London, U.K. KYW’s John McDevitt reports fans are looking forward to the trip across the pond, and experts say it’s a great way for Philadelphia to hit a promotional home run.
