Philly leads the state in risk for West Nile virus, according to new data

  • Chaos in a Montgomery County courtroom (today). Sheriffs deputies had to clear a courtroom after a family member tried to attack a man who was pleading guilty to the fatal overdose of a six-year-old boy.
  • Philadelphia City Council and the police department have been working to improve the city's 9-1-1 dispatch center following a tragic incident last summer when a dispatcher sent police to a wrong address.

  • Philly has more mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus than any other county in Pennsylvania, according to data from state officials.
