Fathers Matter is a project that promotes the positive and active presence of men in
children’s lives to benefit children, women and men themselves.
During June 2023, Heartlines, in partnership with UNICEF SA and the SABC, aims to promote another run of national conversations encouraging positive fatherhood, and getting us to reflect on why fathers matter, especially for the wellbeing of young people. The 6 Fathers Matter short films will be rebroadcast on SABC 2 every Saturday at 8:30pm from 10th to 24th June. One of the first films to TX on Saturday 10th is Everything a Boy Could Want, starring renowned Jacques Blignaut and upcoming talent Jordan Brown. And directed by the acclaimed Zane Meas.
