Our November Hope For Kids Foster Care Campaign continued today with a stop at A Door Of Hope in Pinellas Park. It's not about you! That was the theme during our visit with several foster moms at Calvary Chapel in St. Petersburg this morning. Sherry and Shaleigh sat with us and shared their personal foster parenting journeys. Often times, the challenges that come with foster kids are medical in nature because of the trauma experienced in their biological homes. While the challenges leave foster parents feeling stretched thin, it's in these moments they feel the presence of the Lord the most!
