It's November and that means it's time for our Hope For Kids Foster Care Campaign! Our first stop this morning was at Citygate Ministries in Fort Myers, visiting with the fine folks at 4KIDS Southwest Florida. Did you know in any given week, the Florida Department of Children and Families removes 10-20 children from their parent's homes, only to have no homes to place them? This is a big problem, especially when you consider there are more than 400 churches across southwest Florida. Scott Anderson is the Church Engagement Coordinator for 4KIDS Southwest Florida. He was also born with cerebral palsy, uses a wheelchair, and is a foster dad to 4 children! He joined us with a challenge in reminding us that the church is the solution, the answer to this crisis!
