The Legality Over Governor Newsom's Fight Against Walgreens

View descriptionShare

While California continues to champion reproductive rights … the state is coming up against legal efforts over access to medication abortion. Just last Friday, a federal judge in Texas ruled to suspend FDA approval of an abortion pill … and without an appeal from the federal government, that could jeopardize access nationwide. This isn’t Newsom’s first hard-line stance on the issue. It turns out California has to LEGALLY keep doing business with Walgreens … and here to help explain why is Samantha Young … she’s a reporter with Kaiser Health News.
