In November, California voters are set to decide their next Secretary of State. The person they choose will oversee the state's elections at a time when the Trump administration has tried to restrict mail-in voting, get states to hand over voter roll data, and place federal election monitors at polling sites. Shirley Weber is the incumbent in the race. She recently joined our podcast Political Breakdown and spoke with host Marisa Lagos.
