California is the first state to ban single-use plastic bags - but less than 10 percent of plastic actually gets RECYCLED. It gets dumped every day in our landfills that would fill nearly 300 Olympic swimming pools. Now one startup in the Bay Area is offering to take some of that trash off people’s hands and find creative ways to recycle it. KQED's Matthew Green went to check it out and brings us this story.
