This week on The Sports Leader, the conversation is all about giving back to the community. Steve Young, the three-time champion and two-time NFL MVP, joins Murph and Markus to talk about a program that's making a real difference in the lives of high school students in the Bay Area.

The discussion centers around SEO San Francisco, a free academic and career program that supports first-generation public high school students, guiding them through college and into competitive careers. The program's executive director, Omar Wandera, shares the impressive stats: 100% of their students get into top colleges, and 85% graduate within six years. But it's not just about the numbers – it's about the impact on the students and their families.

Steve Young and his business partner, Rich Lawson, recently hosted a fundraiser for SEO at the Chase Center, and the event was a huge success. They're joined by Junior Bryant, a Notre Dame alum and first-generation college student himself, who shares his personal story and the importance of programs like SEO. The conversation is inspiring and thought-provoking, and it's clear that these individuals are passionate about making a difference.
