Judge Dismisses Prince Harry’s Lawsuit

Prince Harry lost his final major lawsuit against the British tabloid press when a London judge ruled that he failed to prove claims that the publisher of the Daily Mail unlawfully obtained private information about him and several other high-profile figures. 

KTLA reports that Jason Turner was critically injured while performing a simple act of community service—picking up fireworks litter from a Northern California beach. A device believed to be an abandoned homemade firework exploded in his hand, resulting in amputation and other serious injuries. His family says he now faces a long recovery and multiple surgeries.

Forbes reports that the first Freedom Fuel Network gas station has opened near Philadelphia, offering gasoline at $3.47 per gallon, significantly below local averages. While the White House says the privately owned company is simply operating on lower profit margins, questions remain about who owns the network, how it can sustain the discounts, and whether the model can expand beyond its initial 25 Pennsylvania and New Jersey locations.
