Trump administration's continuing effort to reshape a federal electric-vehicle charging program created under the Biden administration. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) said states that have not used previously awarded EV-charging money may choose to return those funds rather than proceed with projects under the program. The move is part of a broader review of federal EV infrastructure spending. 

National Review reports that Vice President JD Vance used his Joe Rogan appearance to argue that Senate Republicans should not let the filibuster prevent passage of the administration's election-security agenda. Calling the filibuster "procedural bullsh**," Vance urged Republicans to move forward with the SAVE America Act, adding his voice to an ongoing debate over whether the Senate's 60-vote requirement should continue to block major legislation.
